Vinyasa Flow THIS!!!

Oh so tired. Oh so sleepy. Oh so…something something.

Still reeling from Power Yoga at Golds this evening! Great class. Packed room! The hour always flies by so damn fast and we are left with the feeling that we could keep going for another hour no problem. Such a great way to end the day with a Power Yoga class. Vinyasa Flow is what it’s all about. What is Vinyasa Flow?

Vinyasa Flow (from Wikipedia): a dynamic connecting posture, that creates a flow between the more static traditional yoga postures. Vinyasa translates as linking and the system also implies the linking of the movement to the breath. Essentially the breath dictates the movement and the length of time held in the postures. Unlike some Hatha yoga styles, attention is also placed on the journey between the postures not just the postures themselves.

My class is full of these such flows and it serves as the connective tissue between the poses. As a result the poses flow from one to the next without missing a beat. No time is ever wasted because we are constantly moving from pose to pose to pose to pose…

Funniest song ever! Case close. It is stuck in my noggin right now. Oh help me!
